CAMRA Calgary has been established with the following goals:

  • to encourage the responsible appreciation of natural, pure, additive free ales, beers, lagers and other malt beverages in all their traditional styles;
  • to support actively the establishment of brewpubs and microbreweries in Alberta;
  • to lobby for sensible federal,provincial and municipal legislation controlling the distribution, pricing and consumption of malt beverages;
  • to ct as a forum for the education of both homebrewers and members of the general public in matters relating to the making and consumption of malt beverages.
