LABATT BLUE is the greatest beer in the entire world. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool and doesn't deserve to drink beer. I am pissed at all these people who believe Moloson Canadian is a GREAT beer. I think people just drink it to FEEL patriotic. What fags. Moloson is awful at brewing, with many inconsistancies in their beer. Some are supersweet, some superbitter, some just suck. Also, Kokanee. I don't think i ever had a worst beer. I am still astonished at how popular it is. Real beer drinkers know a good beer, and Kokanee is not. Gimmi a Sleeman's HoneyBrown, gimmi some Alexander Kieths, gimmi some Extra Old Stock! It's all better then Moloson and Kokanee. GO LABATT'S BLUE! number one beer in Canada, number one canadian beer in the world and the greatest beer ever brewed!

Beer is like a cigar...
You use it and it has its affects....
First you get the feeling of "being high"....
Second, you get the feeling of the side affects... barf...
Thirdly, you drink more.......
Fourthly..... it recks your liver....
Fithly, you get drunk everynight......
Sixthly, you have too much and go driving, you pass out and hit a post and fly into the river, your lungs fill with water, you can't breathe, and all you can think is man... i need to drink light beer.... the end... your dead.... so after all..... was it the beer or was it the stupid post?!?

I wish that the breweries would have adds that have the Ceo's or president say something in their adds like wen at Labatts etc would like everyone to try and enjoy our product, however at the same time we would encourage everyone to reach for a counselor if there are difficulties your dealing with instead of a bottle or illegal drugs.

I think this kind of add would go further to sell beer than any other kind of add.

For myself I do enjoy an occassional beer and I like to try different kinds as well.

So email me if you think I am right!

Just to let everyone here know: there's a lot more to Canadian beer than Labatts, Keiths, Molson and Sleeman. BC, for example, has over 15 microbreweries and over 20 brewpubs, none of which make fizzy piss. In fact, regional specialties range from Irish Ale, Stouts, and Porters, to IPA and Lambics. The Craft Brewers' Association members don't use food colouring (Rickard's Red), genetically modified yeast (Labatts and Molson) or rice/corn/extracts. They use only real beer ingredients to make some truly exceptional beers. Step out beyond the taste-alikes!

Swedish drinking toast (skål) has a rather macabre background; it originally meant 'skull'. The word has come down from a custom practiced by the warlike and terrorist Vikings who used the dried-out skulls of their enemies as drinking mugs, with the evident advantage that the mug held a large quantity of mead and could be easily replaced.

initiatory application

Dear Ladies, Dear Sirs,

in October 2002 I finished the full time form of the advanced training to the technical business manager terminated with distribution of the written examination, which I took up following my study to the diploma brewing master. Initiatory I would like to apply in your enterprise for a job within the technical or commercial area, which corresponds to my requirement.

On the basis of experiences in the brewing industry, I would like to remain further connected. I am safe to confirm with commitment, flexibility, perseverance and organizational abilities the expectations in your sense, placed against me. In particular I feel connected to the quality management, which I have got to know in my brewing-technical activity, as well as during my continuing education and would like to give myself further professional training within its area.

I would be pleased, if you offer to me the opportunity to a personal contact.

With kind regards,

Labatt's (Blue, Kokanee, Blue Star) tastes like urine.
Molson's Canadian tastes like perfume.
For real beer, I like the Quidi Vidi microbrewery beers from St. John's, NF. I also LOVE India Beer. I gather the Beer Store can special order whatever you want, IF you're willing to pay for it!

Molson has that kick-ass I Am Canadian campaign (It's not anti-American, you just have to live in Canada to get the joke) and their products can be found at

Labatt has a great free long-distance calling scheme in Ontario. Their web site is

The great Quidi Vidi microbrewery can be found at (Try the Eric's Red if you can get your hands on it!)

Dropped by the website to confirm something a friend told me: that beef stock is added to Molson Ex for flavor. It wouldn't bother me so much (well, it sort of does already) except for anyone who is vegetarian (for any reason, especially religious ones) and who likes beer. Sort of like McDonalds fries being flavored in a similar way.

I also have yet to taste a Molson beer that I think tastes great. Molson Ex seemed to be the least of evils, but even now I'm reconsidering. I prefer micros by far, like Big Rock, Trad, Granville Island, and especially the Beligan style beers of Quebec micros like Unibroue and dark stouts by Boreale.

Great site!
I have been collecting beer caps for on and off
for about 25 years. I now have about 320. If any one has
any they could send to me, please let me know. In particular,
the NFL logo caps (I think that was Bud) and the Blue NHL Stanley Cup
caps. Thank you.

Older and much wiser now,
Since last I drank such swill.
A prairie lad I'll always be,
I'll miss that glass of PIL'.

But since I moved to this fair town,
The land of the microbrew.
Despite their varied flavors
All taste like G. W.

Great Western, for all of you who don't,
Recall the simple name.
But better that it's forgotten
'Cause its taste was kinda lame

For Gold and Light had lacked such bite
'Tis well that they have died.
And to think that they might profit
From a beer with Rider Pride

A mug of PILSNER in my fist,
Right now would suit me fine.
Alas, I'm forced to go without,
'Neath Parallel Forty-Nine.

But one day soon, in Saskatoon,
Regina or P.A.
I'll find myself among old friends,
And there I'll want to stay.

But now I'll just sit here and bitch
That I'll never get my fill
Of that onetime famous Lethbridge brew
Saskatchewanians call "PIL"!

Being a displaced Maritimer I can say one of the biggest losses I feel is the beer. You can purchase Blue [or is that blew] and Molson here, but as many of you have said, industrila swill would probably taste better. I broke down @ my wedding and purchased a keg of Moosehead, which actually went over well (more of that went than the Bud lite, no surprise there). My favorite beer from home is Keith's. One of the first things I do when I get back is pop the top off a nice cold one. Incidently, the web site for Keith's Brewery is @
I also like Fort Gary from my time in Winnipeg.

Since I've not been able to find a good Canadian beer down here, I normally stick to Guinness or Harps.

I can't believe it! There is an entire web site devoted to booze! Oh life is good! And we Canadians know how to do it best, eh? So throw on some back bacon and get your steins cuz we're going to party like it's 1999! Oh wait....uh, about that 1999 thing...nevermind.

Attention Labatt Blue Drinkers!!! If blue is your beer of choice, you have to try Labatt Crystal. It's heaven in a bottle. However, it is not available in the states. The next time you're in Canada, hit the nearest Beer Store and pick yourself up a couple of cases.

Rickard's Red, Rickard's Red, Rickard's Red!
I love that beer! Amazing flavour. A little sweet, but much better flavour than I would expect from a Molson product (I guess they just distribute it for the Capilano Brewery). Very drinkable, not bitter, and clean aftertaste. Not as easy to find outside of Ontario, but it's worth looking for.

Big Rock Traditional Ale is a wonderful English Pale Ale. Full of flavour and goes down smooth with a clean aftertaste. Slightly bitter. Unfortunately, it is hard to find outside of Alberta.

I've tried all the rest and Molson Canadien is still
the best.
Drink it ice cold and it goes down extremely smooth.
