Brew Tour Legend

Library Search will initiate a search on the Real Beer Library for articles relating to the associated listing.

Microbrewery:
Brewery that produces up to 15,000 bbl annually, and sells no more than 50% in an onsite restaurant.

Regional:
Brewery that produces 15,000 bbl to 150,000 bbl annually.

National:
Brewery that produces more than 150,000 bbl annually.

Contractee:
Brewery that hires another brewery to produce it's beers.

Brewpub:
Brewery that sells more than 50% of its beer on-premise, with a restaurant.

Bar/Tavern:
Bar with a wide beer selection, but no beer brewed on-premise.

Microbrewery
brewery that produces no more than 15,000 bbl (17,600 hl) annually, selling no more than 50% of its beer from an on-site restaurant.

Regional
brewery that produces 15,000 bbl - 500,000 bbl (17,600 - 586,700 hl) annually.

National
brewery that produces more than 500,000 bbl (586,700 hl) annually.

Contractee
hires a brewery to make its beer.

Restaurant
brewery that sells more than 50% of it's beer off-premise, but also has a restaurant on-premise. Only use if you've chosen Micro, Regional, National, or Contracted.

Tasting Room
brewery that has a public tasting room on-premise, but sells more than 50% of it's beer off-premise. Only use if you've chosen Micro, Regional, National, or Contracted.

BrewPub
sells more than 50% of its beer on-premise, with restaurant

External Distribution
A Brewpub who sells their beer, less than 50%, through off-premise accounts

To Go
A Brewpub who offers their beer for sale to be taken off-premise

Bar/Tavern
sells wide beer selection, but no beer brewed on premise
