ok i'll try asking you. every q & a i come across on beer info
pages has ignored or sent a standardized answer to my question. i'm
hoping maybe you can provide an actual answer. i'm looking for a beer
called south pacific lager. i used to enjoy it immensely +/- 10 years
ago, but when i returned from an extended european vacation this year, i
was unable to find it.
do you have any info on this beer? is it still being brewed? i believe
it was from
tahiti, or new guinea, but i'm not positive. any help you can provide
would be greatly appreciated.
From Beer Dave: South Pacific Export
Lager from Boroko, Papua New Guinea used to be imported by Pacific
Paradise Imports of Santa Fe Springs, California. The bottles and cans
had a colorful logo with the bird of paradise on the label. This beer
grew fast and furious like the fern bars of the late seventies it was
served in. It has been about 10 years since this was available in this
country.
