I just wanted to settle a bet. How many cases of beer are in a half barrel?

From Beer Dave: Do you mean a case of 12 ounce containers? 16 ounces? 8 ounces? A keg of beer (half barrel) contains 1984 ounces. You should be able to do the appropriate math.
