Ask Real Beer
August 2000
Someone asked me a beer question the other day that I could not answer.
I had a lot of beer exposure in the '70s working in my daddy's carryout. Seems like back then the trendy thing for brewers to do was to market a premium beer as Anheuser-Busch was doing with their Michelob. If my memory is correct Pabst sold Andecker, Miller had Lowenbrau, and Stroh's had one but I can't remember it's name. Can you help here?
Stroh's Super Premium entry was known as Signature.
