Beer BBQ Chicken

It's no run-of-the-mill BBQ chicken because of the flavorful beer marinade and tantalizing honey-butter glaze.

  • 3 broiler chickens, halved
  • 2 - 12oz. pilsner beers at room temperature
  • 2- medium to large onions, sliced
  • 2 or 3 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. of paprika
  • 1/4 lb cube of butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup of honey, warmed

In a large roasting pan , mix the beer, garlic, onions, and paprika. Lay your 6 chicken halves in the mixture and let marinate for at least 3 hours, turning the pieces several times. When ready to cook wipe the chicken dry with a paper towel and place on BBQ or under broiler in oven. (if using oven make sure to use pan with lip to catch juices.)

Baste chicken with melted butter repeatedly as chicken cooks. When chicken is done brush melted honey on each piece and cook another couple minutes
