Blue Moon Pumpkin


Introduced in the Fall of 1997 by the Coors Blue Moon division, the Pumpkin is a clear amber color, well-carbonated, and produces a creamy head. The complex estery aromas are due no doubt to the yeast strain used. This medium-bodied brew offers a full mouth-feel along with an overall malty flavor with just hints of any pumpkin in its ingredient list. The label proclaims "Ale brewed with natural flavor." Customers are referred to (800)BLE-MOON or More revealing however is the location information: Blue Moon Brewing Co., Denver, CO and Memphis, TN. The later is the Eastern location where the old Strohs plant sees duty producing certain Coors specialty products.
