The Dublin Brewery pub was the site of a festive retirement party for publican and well-known bay Area beer aficionado Judy Ashworth. A band with an extensive horn section occupied the right side of the large open room that features pooltables and dartboards. 4o+ taps and a beer engine line the wall behind the long bar while a chalkboard announces available beers and proclaims "Say hello to new owners Tom & Tim." Neon beer signs provide the pub ambiance while the English, Pacific Northwest and California draught beers provide the attraction. Two dozen tables offer relaxed seating near the stage. The dart and pool area is surrounded by beer mirrors and full-size national flags. Notable beers include the North Coast Old Rasputin Imperial Stout. Opaque, with a lasting creamy head, the alcohol content from this dark malty brew can sneak up on you. For a great neighborhood bar with exceptional beers and staff pay a visit to the Dublin Brewery.
