This 4.3% dark beer (11-degree) from KLINSKII is called just chemnaya or "dark", although it comes in a green bottle. Reddish amber in color, it starts with a very malty aroma that is followed by a medium-bodied but slightly malty-sweet brew that finishes toward the dry, malty side. Freshness date notches mark the month and day of bottling while the back label lists the ingredients and brewery established date of 1975. The Zolomy is a clear gold color with a light but sharp hop bitterness where the light-bodied brew is dominated by the hop bitterness well into the aftertaste.
