The 33cl bottles from the Brouwery De Musketiers are labeled as "Belgian Beer" in four languages. Although the label does say "Brewed since 1999", it does not show the beer's alcohol content. The Troubadour blond is gold in color. From the very thick white head escapes estery aromas and even a hint of orange zest. Medium-bodied, with a full mouthfeel, the mellow and slightly sweet pale malt flavor sneaks up on you with its alcoholic warming sensations. The finish is on the dry side, with a slight spiciness detectable. Distinctive, and very drinkable.
