San Diego Brewers Make Collaboration Beer to Support SD Brewers Guild
San Diego’s craft brewing industry has been hit hard in the economic fallout of the coronavirus pandemic. Now, some of the city’s most recognizable brands have come together to help out their fellow brewers.
Stone Brewing has announced that they have partnered with AleSmith, Modern Times, Mother Earth, Pizza Port, Thorn and Port Brewing for a collaboration brew dubbed the “San Diego Brewers United Double IPA.â€
The canned collaboration beer will benefit the San Diego Brewers Guild.

Utah’s Toasted Barrel Brewery Pays Off Local Students’ Lunch Debt
One Utah brewery has started the new year in the plus column for community karma points by making a noble donation to a local elementary school. Throughout December, Toasted Barrel asked patrons at its tasting room to donate to the cause. On Thursday, Salt Lake City’s Toasted Barrel Brewery donated $1,300 to the nearby Washington Elementary School to pay off student lunch debt.

World’s Biggest Pub Quiz attracts close to 1,000 pubs – and counting!
Fundraising packs for the World’s Biggest Pub Quiz will be arriving over the next few weeks at the 970 pubs, bars and clubs across the UK who have already registered for this popular event, running between 3-7 March.
Organisers PubAid are urging more licensees to sign up now for the quiz, which is completely free of charge and offers a great way to attract customers into the pub, as well as supporting charities, including official charity partner Prostate Cancer UK.
