Will Anderson interest in breweries and their role in the fabric of America's history goes back to his senior year at Cornell University, to 1961, when he an a fraternity brother began a beer can collection. "People thought we were nuts. And my parents weren't too thrilled, either," laughs Anderson. In the years since, the author has written eight books on beer and brewiana, including The Beer Book (1973), From Beer to Eternity (1987), and Beer New England (1988). A native of Yonkers and Ardsley, New York, the author lives in Portland with his wife, Augusta-native Catherine Buotte. And, yes, he likes beer.
