Yankee Brew Review: An IPA with a Clear Hop Message

Beer: Bombay Express IPA
Brewer: J.J. Ramos, Alewife Grille & Brewery, Glastonbury, Connecticut
Appearance: Copper color; good head.
Aroma: Flowery hop nose.
Taste: Spicy hop bitterness; nice touch of malt sweetness in the middle; dry finish; medium body.
Summary: A well-balanced beer. The hops come through loud and clear in aroma, flavor and bitterness.
Brewer's Notes: Pale, crystal and chocolate malts; torrefied wheat; Northern Brewer, Cluster and Cascade hops; 1.060 O.G.; 5.87% ABV.
