Anheuser-Busch's Michelob
Anheuser-Busch Michelob
Neutral, grassy, "green apple" nose. Very light bodied and mostly sweet. Clean, but generic, leaves no lasting impression.
**
Anheuser-Busch Michelob Honey Lager
Straw color with nice bead of foam. Mostly malt aroma with honey notes. Flavor is all malt and far too sweet. Very little hops to strike a balance.

Anheuser-Busch Michelob Golden Pilsner
Pale straw color, nice head of foam. Malty nose with a whiff of Saaz hops. Delicate, clean flavors in balance--could use a bit more hop flavor. Not Pilsner Urquell, but a darned nice pilsner nevertheless.

Anheuser-Busch Michelob Hefeweizen
Natural, yeasty wheat beer with traditional cloudiness. Dense, compact head of foam that doesn't quit. Complex tangy flavors of American hops and clove spice. A very creamy brew, look for delicious hop flavor and spiciness. A classic.
****
Anheuser-Busch Michelob Amber Bock
Head falls quickly, not a good omen. Neutral nose with a whiff of malt peeking out. Light bodied with subtle flavors of caramel and toast. Flavor fades quickly.
**
Anheuser-Busch Michelob Pale Ale
American "Cascade" hop nose with subdued, citrusy hop character. Pleasant hop flavors compliment this caramel and bready brew. Light to medium bodied and quenching.
