I'd like to take this opportunity to correct the record in regards to a small error I read in the What's Brewing: Vermont section of the June-July Yankee Brew News.
The article said that Burlington's The Three Needs recently "became only the second brewpub in the state (after Stowe's The Shed) to offer its beers for off-premises consumption in half-gallon growlers." This is not correct. Here at the Windham Brewery in Brattleboro we've been selling growlers for at least three years. Customers can purchase growlers of our stout, porter, brown, IPA and other ales, and our various lagers, from the Burrito Exchange, a cafe adjoining the brewery and restaurant.
The Windham Brewery, Latchis Grille, and Burrito Exchange are located at 6 Flat Street in Brattleboro, just one block from Brattleboro's other brewery.
Yours, etc.
